How to read the status markers
Shipped means running on testnet with tests in CI. In progress means partially deployed and actively changing. Planned means designed but not yet built — treat anything in that column as subject to change.
What gates mainnet
Three things, none of them negotiable. The trusted setup ceremony must be complete with a published, independently verifiable transcript. The external review of the FROST ring and the compression circuit must close without unresolved critical findings. And the ring must consist of eleven operators who are genuinely independent — different jurisdictions, different hosting, different people. A 7-of-11 threshold where four of the signers share an operator is a 7-of-8 in disguise.
After mainnet
- Additional predicates. The attestation circuit currently proves balance thresholds and payment receipts. Non-membership proofs against sanctioned sets are the next addition.
- Sapling recipients. Supported today, but the SDK warns; full parity depends on demand from institutions with legacy wallets.
- Governance handover. The supported-asset list, fee tiers and the signatory set move to $ZRL governance once the ring is stable.
